The Crows schedule of First Team Pre-Season Friendlies for season 2012/13 is as follows:

Saturday 14th July — Standon & Puckeridge (away) 3pm

Tuesday 17th July — Hoddesdon Town (away) 7:30pm

Saturday 21st July — Histon (Home) 3pm

Tuesday 24th July — Godmanchester Rovers (Home) 7:45pm

Saturday 28th July — Takeley (Home) 3pm

Tuesday 31st July — Haverhill Rovers (away) 7:45pm

Wednesday 1st August — Haringey & Waltham Development (away) 7:45pm

Saturday 4th Ausust — Herne Bay (away) 3pm

Tuesday 7th August — Cambridge City (Home) 7:45pm

New Youth News

The season is now over for most of our teams and there was some games played at the weekend. U10 Rangers won 1-0, U12 Eagles drew 2-2 with Stevenage Borough Lions on their last game of the season. U13 Girls drew against Bar Hill 3-3. Well done girls who have just completed their second season with Royston Town Youth.

However a special mention must go to U11 Hearts who needed to win their last game of the season at the Heath to win the league. I am very pleased to report that the Hearts did indeed win 8-1 on Sunday and have won the U11 9v9 League. Well done to all the boys on a fantastic season. They still could do the double when they play in the League Cup Final at The Bury, Buntingford on Sunday 27th May at 3pm, against Bedwell Rangers Cougars. If you are free I know they would appreciate the support.

There are still some games left for the coming weekend and then the season will be over for another year.

Don't forget Registration Days will be Saturday 16th June and Sunday 8th July 2012 from 11am until 1pm both days.

Vets Progress to Cambs Final

Crows Lift Premier Division Cup

The Crows signed off season 2011/12 with further silverware as they defeated St. Margaretsbury by a two-nil scoreline at Stotfold FC on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon. Top scorer Kaan Fehmi grabbed both of the goals in a comfortable victory.

The Crows finished their League campaign in style with a fine 4-2 win over Haringey Borough at Garden Walk on Saturday, with the goals coming from John McGrandles (2), Luke Robins and Kaan Fehmi. Many thanks to the 500+ supporters who braved the wet & cold to watch the game and then see the presentation of the Premier Division Champions Shield.

Congratulations also to the Crows A-Team who secured promotion for the second consecutive season – a great achievement.

Crows Lift Floodlit Cup – Again

For the fourth consecutive season, The Crows won the South Midlands Floodlit Cup after a 1-0 victory over Broxbourne Borough V&E in a close game – Luke Robins grabbed the decisive goal just before half-time.
