Royston got off to a flying start after just one minute, with a long throw in from Jack W, that was fired in to the back of the net by Jake. Colts then equalised from a cross that Jack W tried to clear, but unfortunately put the ball into his own net. Colts then scored a second with a lob over the head of keeper Bradley. Royston refused to be beaten and after a goal mouth scramble including shots from Jack D, Thomas and finally Jack W making amends to chip the ball in and level the score to two all.

The second half got underway and Royston wasted no time with a great pass from Chris Fage that found Will Bellano, who took a touch before smashing the ball into the net to make it 3-2. Colts kept the pressure on, with only some great defending from Toby and Lewis with some good saves from keeper Bradley, keeping Diamonds ahead. Colts eventually broke the hearts of the Diamonds with a well executed late equaliser from Colts to finish the game, drawing 3-3.

A great result against a side 4 places ahead in the league, said manager Dave Wilkerson.
