There were mixed fortunes for our three teams who were in FA competition action this week.

FA Youth Cup: Last Thursday, as in the previous two rounds of this season’s competition, our Under 18’s were victorious after a penalty shoot-out.  Following a 1-1 scoreline at 90 minutes, they beat Harborough Town U18s 5-4 on penalties to progress to the 3rd Round Qualifying of the FA Youth Cup, where they will host Loughborough Students at Garden Walk on Thursday 16 October.

Isuzu FA Trophy: Our First Team went down 3-0 to Welling United at Garden Walk.

Adobe Women’s FA Cup: Our Women’s team travelled down the A10 to play Wormley Rovers Ladies in the 3rd Round Qualifying of the Women’s FA Cup & recorded a convincing 3-0 win to reach the 1st Round proper of the competition for the second successive season.
