TOM’S WEEKEND PREVIEW – 9th & 10th November

Hi and welcome to this weekend’s preview with Royston Town FC, Royston Town Women and Royston Town Vets.

 

First up, Royston Town FC travel to Market Harborough to take on Harborough Town in the Southern League Premier Central, Saturday, 3 pm kick-off. Royston Town will hope to bounce back after a frustrating game against Stratford Town last weekend while Harborough Town will feel on a high after a 4-1 win away in the 1st round of the FA Cup against Step 2 side Tonbridge Angels, with an award away to Reading FC in Round 2. Royston will also have their 1st meeting with Harborough Town as well.

Next up, Royston Town Women are also on the road when they travel to Barton Rovers to take on Luton Town Ladies in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division, Sunday, 2 pm kick-off. Royston Town and Luton Town both won last weekend in their FA Women’s Cup matches. Royston Town are top of the league and are 9 points clear of Luton Town who are in 2nd place, but the Crows have played 2 more games than Luton, this is a massive 6 pointer on the line. Royston Town beat Luton Town 3-2 on the opening day with Emma Slater scoring a hat-trick.

Last up, Royston Town Vets host Welwyn Sports Vets in the Herts Vets Super League on Sunday at 10:30 am kick-off. Royston Town hope to bounce back with a win after their first loss of the league season.

 

 

This game is a 10.30 am kickoff and is at Garden Walk. Admission is FREE.
