A well matched game saw Royston victors with some of there best football this season so far.

 

Diamonds scored first from a great corner from Jack W which was fired in from one yard by Zac.

 

Again on the score sheet 5 minutes later Jack D this time the provider for Zac (man of the match) who lobbed the ball over the keeper 2-0.

 

Buntingford got one back before half time with Diamonds pushing for a third, they broke clear and went the full length of the pitch to score against a defence that was caught cold.

From the start of second half Buntingford intercepted a ball which then went to Will who sent a low ball through midfield to Jack D he took a touch and slotted the ball passed the keeper.

 

Buntingford didn't give up and Diamonds got lucky when they hit the crossbar, Diamonds were not finished and the ball was passed out to Chris who split open the defence with a fine ball to Jack D he was clear through as a Buntingford defender tried to manhandle him of the ball. He played to the whistle which didn't come as the ref played fine advantage and Jack D managed to get the ball into the net before an oncoming keeper.

 

A fine all round performance from the whole team with some very pleasing football played from front to back.
