 A blustery Sunday  morning for our home game against BSFC Rovers who were sitting second in the league.

With the wind against us, Crows set off to a positive start as Chris got on the end of a through ball to make a good shot across goal but David could not quite get on the end of it.

A corner by Chris led to Toby making a shot which was deflected wide for another corner.  Dan took this corner for Zach to head home, 1-0 to Royston.

Rovers came forward and took control of the game but good defending from Zack and Lewis M along with a save by George kept Rovers from scoring.

Danny had a couple of shots at goal only to be saved by the keeper.

Our second goal came from a great pass from Jamie for Charlie to fire the ball into the net, 2-0 to Royston.

Another shot on target was pushed out by the keeper only for Josh to tap it in goal, 3-0 to Royston.

Our defence got caught out for not stopping the bounce and Stortford took advantage, 3-1 to Royston.

With half time approaching, Royston went forward and Jamie took a shot just wide of the post.

Rovers pulled one back just before half time, 3-2 to Royston.

Second half saw the wind increasing but to our advantage and also a change to our goalie with Zach in for George.

Good passing from Crows which saw David with a quick pass to Dan who slotted it home, 4-2 to Royston.

Jamie took a shot from outside the box which took a big deflection into the back of the net, own goal 5-2 to Royston.

A great individual effort from Wilko, taking on several Stortford players which resulted in a shot at goal.

Rovers were awarded a free kick from which they scored, 5-3 to Royston.

Rovers took another shot on target which saw Zach dive the wrong way, goal to Rovers, 5-4 to Royston. 

Crows were back on the attack with a shot from Lewis M and both Dicko and Danny having shots over the bar.

A one two between Chris and Jamie resulted in goal from Jamie, 6-4 to Royston.

A corner from Charlie saw the ball sail into the net with a little help from the wind, 7-4 to Royston.

A further good save from Zach late in the game.

In the last five minutes Crows were awarded a free kick just outside the area.  Wilko took it which hit the crossbar.

Good performance and effort from all the team and an entertaining game to watch.
