Royston Town bowed out of the FA Trophy as Welling United brushed them aside with a comfortable victory.
The first goal arrived on 28 minutes as a missed tackle in midfield let in Zac Hambury who drove at the Crows defence before crossing for Femi Akinwande to apply the finish from close range.
The Crows offered very little going forward but had a strong penalty shout turned down when Joe Iaciofano looked to be pulled back as he was about to apply the finishing touch to an Adam Murray flick on.
That was all the home side offered and two second half goals killed the tie off. Early in the second half Luke O’Neill won the ball on the halfway line, a long diagonal ball found John Ufuah, whose excellent first touch left him with an easy finish past Reuben Rabstein. The third and final goal arrived in the 68th minute as a cross from Hambury was headed in at close range by Ufuah as The Wings cruised into the next round.
