Aylesbury United 2-3 Royston Town
Royston Town returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 3–2 victory away to Aylesbury United on Sunday afternoon. The Crows had gone into the game without a win in their previous four matches in all competitions, but goals from Cemal Ramadan, Alfie Warman and Kian Harness secured three valuable points in an entertaining contest.
The match also saw goalkeeper Elliot Krasniqi make his Royston Town debut. Krasniqi was joined in the starting lineup by Cathline, Locke, Beckett, Ivanov, Parr (captain), Williams, Warman, Ramadan, Domi and Harness.

The Crows made a positive start at The Meadow and looked dangerous going forward during the opening stages, with both sides settling into an entertaining contest.
Royston’s pressure eventually paid off in the 36th minute when Cemal Ramadan found the back of the net to give the visitors the lead.
Aylesbury looked for an immediate response and managed to draw level just before the interval. The hosts were awarded a penalty in the 45th minute, with Finlay Reeves making no mistake from the spot to send the two sides into the break level at 1–1.
Royston came out strongly after the restart and regained their lead just five minutes into the second half, with Alfie Warman finding the net to make it 2–1.
The Crows made their first change soon afterwards, with Jack Dickerson replacing Konstantin Ivanov, but they continued to look the more threatening side as they searched for a third. That goal arrived on the hour mark. Revin Domi produced an excellent cross towards the far post, where Kian Harness was perfectly placed to finish, making it 3–1.
The Crows continued to manage the game well and made further changes as the half progressed, with George Bailey replacing Cemal Ramadan in the 63rd minute, followed by Joe Iaciofano coming on for Warman seven minutes later.
Aylesbury pulled a goal back in the 72nd minute through Jack Wood, setting up a tense final period with Royston’s lead reduced to just one.
The hosts pushed forward in search of an equaliser, while Royston worked hard to protect their advantage. With the game entering its final stages, Dylan Williams replaced Judge in the 85th minute, before Adam Murray came on for George Bailey two minutes later.
The pressure continued as Aylesbury searched for a late leveller, but the Crows remained resolute and successfully negotiated five minutes of added time.
The final whistle confirmed a valuable 3–2 victory for Royston Town, bringing an end to the Crows’ four-game winless run and sending them back home with three important points.
