West Essex FC 0 Royston Town 3
Royston Town progressed to the next round of the Emirates FA Cup with a convincing 3–0 victory away at West Essex FC.
The Crows dominated much of the first half and deservedly took the lead on 40 minutes. Alfie Warman released captain Adam Murray, who rounded the goalkeeper before calmly slotting home. Royston threatened further, with a goal-line clearance denying Harvey Beckett before the break.
West Essex created a couple of opportunities after half-time, but goalkeeper Rabstein was equal to the challenge. Royston continued to look dangerous, Murray adding a second on 64 minutes. The Crows put the game beyond doubt in stoppage time. Murray was brought down in the box, allowing Cemal Ramadan to convert the resulting penalty.
A professional performance from the Crows sees them safely through to the next round.
