A Fan’s View on The Crows’ Recent Form

Some interesting stats sent to the Non-League Paper by Greg McKinnell, who is a supporter of The Crows and also has a family connection to the club as his father is our Club Secretary.

"I just wanted to bring to your attention the incredible run of results that “The Crows” have had over recent weeks.

The first team have, since February 14th, embarked on a run of 11 league games that have seen them win ten and draw one, amassing 31 points out of a possible 33, including winning their last 8 league games in a row! The sort of form that outshines anyone from the Premiership through to the Conference. If the net is cast wider, then it’s a greater run of form than anyone in the Scottish Premiership, La Liga, the Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and the Dutch Eriedivisie! All this achieved whist scoring 23 goals and conceding only 5 and playing with a flair and confidence that comes from such a run of form.

If the club finish in the top five of the Central League, which is now looking extremely likely, they will have achieved their highest ever finishing position in the football pyramid. Some achievement, I’m sure you’ll agree.

Also, as I’m sure you will be aware, our youth team had a fantastic run in the FA Youth Cup, reaching the 4th round of the competition before narrowly losing to Arsenal, one of the giants of world football."
