All in All a Good Night

Hi.

Back on track with a home win against a resolute St Neots team.

A great first half from our perspective scoring two should have led us into another positive half to hopefully stretch the lead and secure the match! Not tonight. For some reason we didn’t get to grips with the game as a team and although they had an upward battle St Neots were clawing their way back into things. To compound things further we “Gave” them an opportunity to get a goal back which they duly obliged.

Most importantly we hung on and 3 points is 3 points however we get them. Back up to 6th with Still a couple of games in hand. Also Weymouth losing away to Dunstable helped our cause no end so all in all a good night for the Crows!!

It is getting very interesting at the top. Although loads of games to play. Some teams look strong to get the title. Hereford, Slough and possibly Kettering should be contesting the top spot with maybe Kings Lynn. We will have our say in proceedings if we can secure points off these teams, the fact that we still have to play Slough and Kettering twice will be crucial for our own aspirations!!

We as a group look forward to these matches but we need to keep our performance levels higher for longer in every game. Most games, in patches the football being played has been outstanding then for some reason we lose our way a bit and “ Take the foot off the gas”

In my opinion a more ruthless approach. Kill teams off, play great football and enjoy but don’t let teams back into games!!

Cheers
