Keep The Support Coming

Hi Everyone.

Well the run continues! A brilliant run of form from the lads. What was especially pleasing for me was the fact we had our family day with lots of prospective fans that hopefully will support us in the future!!

We made one enforced change due to the suspension of our leading goal scorer Rob Mason. I chose to go with Kaan Fehmi. Kaan quickly repaid my choice by opening the scoring for us in the 19th minute. A superb goalkeeping display by the Fleet Town keeper kept the score line down to the one but we felt we should be more comfortable than that.

The second half brought much the same. In the first couple of minutes Ryan Ingrey almost broke the bar with an excellent shot, then after several chances which were all expertly saved came a penalty earned by Rhys Hoenes resulting in the Fleet centre half being sent off. Scott Bridges took the responsibility of taking it. Not a bad penalty but superbly saved once again!!

So we went into the latter part of the game one player extra but still only 1-0!!

The man advantage finally made a difference with us playing quick incisive football. Rhys was causing all sorts of problems in the final third. Getting fouled in particularly dangerous areas for the Fleet back line.

By now we had our expert dead ball specialist in Chris Watters who delivered a great free kick into the area, finding Jack Bradshaw who volleyed the ball into the back the net 2-0!

'Brathers' (Dan Brathwaite) added a third and Scott Bridges finished the scoring to complete a comprehensive victory.

Very pleased but no let up.

Keep the support coming and hopefully we will give you something to cheer on.

Thanks,

SC
