More Crows Signings

Royston Town FC is pleased to announce another three signings in addition to those of Adie Cambridge and Robbie Nightingale, who were both signed last week.

22 year old Forward Mitchell Bryant joins from Frome Town of the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division but spent the most part of last season at Cambridge City making 32 appearances in all competitions and forming a formidable partnership with current Crows striker Craig Hammond.

24 year old Full Back Tom Pepper also joins from Cambridge City, a regular last season who made 38 appearances in all competitions. Tom was previously at Hitchin Town and started his career at Tottenham Hotspur and was regarded as one of the best attacking Full Backs in the Southern Premier Division last season.

Completing the trio is the major capture of Central Defender, 34 year old former Cambridge City captain Dave Theobald. Dave had spent six seasons at City making 51 appearances last season, having started his career at Ipswich Town, Swansea City (10 appearances) and Brentford (31 appearances).

The club is delighted that all three players have committed themselves and penned two year contracts as part of manager Paul Attfield's summer signing spree.

Attfield commented: "This has been a massive week in the history of Royston Town FC and I am delighted to have captured the signings of such formidable and talented players, all three will be a major asset to our side in the foreseeable future. It goes to show what progress has been made in such a short period of time that we are able to attract such quality players. All of our signings were been taken aback by our vision and project for the near future and we can now look forward to next season with great optimism".
