Two Points Dropped

A draw to report on against a lowly placed North Greenford team. An away draw is sometimes not the worse result but in today’s case it was two points dropped rather than one gained.

There’s no beating about the bush we were awful! We still should have won, we had plenty of opportunities, all were either missed or had so little power in the shot it was never going in!

To top a pretty disastrous day our goalkeeper had a nightmare letting in a very soft effort into our goal for their equaliser!

A moan from the manager but I want to quickly add that generally these are the same lads that smashed 8 goals in two games previously in our last two away games so not all doom and gloom.

All of us are frustrated at these low moments. I honestly thought we had gone past this! For this League we have so much talent that we should not drop any points against lower half teams.

Time to regroup, go again. The good thing about a football season that another game isn’t too far away. For us it’s Tuesday against Leighton Town.

I said to the boys before the game that within a week we could accumulate 9 points. Well now that’s down to 7. Still reasonable so that’s the next aim.

What’s the saying? – “it’s a marathon not a sprint”.

Well we are nearing the “Final straight” No more hic ups, just wins a plenty!!

Come on lads. See us over the line!

Up the Crows!!
