Winning Run Continues

Hi Everyone.

Reporting in to you all again to give some good news. Our league run of straight wins has continued to five now, after another fantastic performance against Uxbridge. This time our hero was the workaholic Ryan Ingrey!!

He not only scored both our goals but bravely stayed on the pitch after receiving a bad knock to the ankle, enabling him to score our last minute winner.

The critical amongst us may say watching the game that we should have put the game to bed well before the late drama but fair play to the lads by keeping the faith and ensuring victory.

Yes a special mention to 'Ingers' but others played their part. Performance levels from most were good and we need to take confidence from this.

As Manager I am obviously very pleased with the run but not to get too carried away. We have put ourselves in a position to challenge, no more. We are still playing catch up!

We have a very tough game on 4G against Bedworth next week. For me it will be a test and for us to come through undefeated will be a success. Don't get me wrong we are not going up there to just defend, It's not in our nature. The 4G will probably give Bedworth an advantage but with us training on a similar surface week in week out it will not be that unusual to us.

For me our target as I have mentioned is to get to 2 points a game as quick as we can. We are 4 points away from this at the moment. If we can get there as soon as possible that would get us right back into things.

Lastly to wish our fantastic bunch of Youth team lads all the best for Wednesday! Please if you can get down to watch them play against Arsenal at Borehamwood. It's a seven O'clock kick off and admission is free.

To a player the boys have been brilliant and as long as they carry on with the belief they showed in previous rounds, who knows!!

Up to now 2015 has been very kind to us, long may it continue!!

Cheers
SC
