CROWS BLOG: WE KEEP GOING

Hi guys,

Sorry that I haven’t blogged for a while but I had to take a back seat for a couple of games due to family issues.

The team got left in the very capable hands of Chris, Lewis, Scott and Arron. They went on to secure two great victories at Stratford and against Kings Langley so on Saturday although fully back it was a case of ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ scenario so mainly the shape and team stayed as it was in the previous games.

The start on Saturday was okay. It was a bit tough because we were playing uphill and against the strong wind but we coped alright. Going into the second half, we thought we would kick on and get another positive result.

Unfortunately, it just didn’t happen and we really didn’t get going at all. My frustration was, I’m sure, matched by all of you supporters and fellow staff. It’s a situation we do not want to see repeated and, rest assured, we will do our very best to avoid this again.

We really do owe everyone some good performances. Yes, we have a few new boys bedding in and it will take time but we don’t need to make excuses. We just need to get on with it and start getting our performance levels up to where they should be.

We keep going and we work harder!

Cheers

Steve C
