Therfield Fox & Duck  4- 2  Royston Town Vets

Royston Town Vets were missing several regulars for their trip to Therfield to play the Fox & Duck on Sunday so welcomed Bernie O'Brien and Steve Paul for their debut games for the Vets.

The hosts scored twice before Town mounted a fight back and goals from Steve McGee and Paul Gibson levelled the score mid-way through the second half.

Town then suffered a string of injuries firstly to O'Brien and then to twin strikers McGee and Lee Wilkinson which left Town seriously weakened for the remainder of the game.

The hosts scored 2 goals in the last twenty minutes to run out winners.

The Vets are at home to Great Shelford next week in the Cambs F.A Vets League 1.
