The Ressies travelled to Leverstock Green for their first away game of the season and returned home with all three points.

Another magnificent first half display with four goals in 21 minutes saw the Crows storm into an unassailable lead.

ROGER SKEGGS opened the scoring, capitalising on some shoddy defending a placing his volley neatly away.

JOSH BRONTI scored a well finished goal after the home defence were left as onlookers as Royston danced and weaved around them, and soon after skipper for the day GREGG JACKSON slid home for number three following a ADAM SARTINI through ball.

The fourth goal was again a great example of pass and move football starting from JAMES MERIDETH at full back and DAVID CAIN in midfield and culminating in a second for JOSH BRONTI.

Leverstock snatched a goal just on the stroke of half time.

A small concern for Town is their second half performances and this game was no exception.

Royston's free flowing play was left in the changing room as pass after pass failed to find their mark  and it game as no suprise that Leverstock breached the Royston back-line twice either side of GREGG JACKSON'S fine solo effort to lend some respectability to the final score.

New Town Head Coach John Bitting said "Our 1st half display was fantastic and the challenge for us all at the moment is to try and prolong that for 90 minutes. Having said that we have taken nine points from three games so it's not all doom and gloom".

ROYSTON: Reynolds, Merideth, Gwynne, Apostolos, Jackson S, Skeggs, Steele(Stratton) (Bitting), Cain, Sartini, Bronti (Mullings), Jackson G.
