Once again the Crows second string managed to keep a clean sheet but this week it was down to some top grade defending and goalkeeping from HARRY REYNOLDS rather than lack of efforts on goal.
With the defence taken care of, ever reliable left back ROBERT GWYNNE was able to push forward and open the scoring for his side with a ferocious left foot shot that left the home keeper flat footed.
GREG JACKSON was a constant threat to Northwood's rocky defence and after his effort was well saved, DALTON O'BRIEN extended Town's lead with the cheekiest little back heeled finish.
After the break Royston continued to dominate their hosts and the division difference between the two sides was not apparent as Royston looked to put this two legged tie to bed.
JOSH BRONTI extended the lead with a beautiful free-kick that curled into the far corner and Royston's fourth and final goal came when two Youth players linked well with DEJON MULLINGS threading a fine disguised path to MATTY BRENNAN who then fired the ball home with his first touch of the game.
