Royston Town Reserves 12-2 Evergreen Reserves
The Reserves enjoyed a comfortable scoring frenzy against lower league opposition in the Herts Intermediate Cup at Garden walk.
Despite going ahead inside the opening two minutes, The Crows found themselves 2-1 down as half time approached with stand in ‘keeper ADA CAMBRIDGE being left little or no chance with either goal after some sloppy and over confident play from his defence.
The players held their own inquest during the break and a small pep talk from stand -in Gaffer Wilson revitalised the Crows who went on to record their biggest score under the Cambridge/Wilson partnership.
Scorers on the day were: Cruttenden 3, Bond 2, King 2, Chapman 2, with Cooper, De La Salle and Meredith one apiece.
