Match | Royston Town Reserves v Hartley Wintney Reserves |
Competition | Suburban League: North Division |
Result | Won 3-0 |
Royston Scorers | Bronti(2), Stratton |
Royston continued their unbeaten run with this comprehensive win over lowly Hartley Wintney.
With Town 'keeper Luke Howard only called into action a handful of times,Royston dominated the whole match from start to finish and in truth should really have shown a better goal return for their efforts.
The scoring was opened by the revitalised JOSH BRONTI who raced onto a DAVID CAIN through ball and then took the ball around the on rushing Hartley keeper before slotting the ball home.
TYRELL STRATTON was next on the scoresheet racing clear of the pack and firing a rising shot into the roof of the net.
But for some woeful finishing and strange offside decisions Royston couldn't stretch the lead any further after BRONTI struck again in the 2nd period.
This result leaves the Ressies top of the pile, with a chink of daylight between them and their nearest rivals.
