Royston Town Vets completed the double over Buntingford at Garden Walk on Sunday with a convincing 6-0 victory.
Carlo Silenti made a welcome return to action after a long injury break and Nathan Cash made his debut up front.
Mark Saggers continued his good goal-scoring run with a well-taken opener after 20 minutes and Peter Leete added a second soon after with a fine right-foot volley from 25 yards. Town continued to enjoy good possession but despite further chances failed to extend their lead in the first half.
Early in the second half Nick Humphreys scored number three with a fierce left foot shot from the edge of the 18-yard area and Cash marked his debut with a well-taken 4th goal. John Moulding capped a hardworking game in midfield with number five and Geoff Pinner completed the scoring when he slotted home a pass from Cash.
Steve Holden was again outstanding in the back four for Town.
