Town Vets continued their good form on Sunday at Garden Walk with a convincing 7-1 victory over Litlington Vets.

A spate of injuries (to John Moulding, Ant Anstead, Mark Saggers and Kevin Barthrop) meant Town were down to the bare 11 players and an indifferent start to the game saw the visitors deservedly take the lead after 20 minutes.

Peter Leete headed in an equaliser from a pin-point Adam Smith free kick to kick-start the match for Town. Leete then put Town ahead with a volley from 15 yards and scored his and Town’s third goal from close range to complete his hat-trick. He added goal number four with a header from Nick Humphreys corner. Humphreys scored number five from an Ian Allen cross from the left and notched again when Leete set up the chance. The Litlington ‘keeper tipped over a fierce left-footer from Ian Allen before Nejat ‘Magic’ Kocak completed the scoring with a right foot volley from close range.
