Having not played a game for over two weeks and having to play 2 games in 24 hours, this game was used to mainly give current youth and reserve team some first team experience.
Only three regular first teamers started the fixture against a largely full strength Saints squad, who showed what a very good side they are.
The final scoreline was a little harsh on the visitors who put much into the game and were unlucky not to score more goals themselves on an excellent playing surface.
Unfortunately the clinical nature of the St Neots attacking unit, capitilising on any small mistake, was reflected in the scoreline.
The Crows were three goals down at the interval and conceded an early 4th in the second half. A Kaan Fehmi penalty and a debut goal for youth player Daniel Bond reduced the deficit before a late flurry of goals against a tiring Crows side saw the hosts run out winners by an emphatic margin.
