The youth team progressed to the second round with a resounding victory in Harpenden on Sunday.

From the moment George Duffin scored the first of his four goals after 63 seconds the result was never in doubt.

Although the hosts levelled mid way through the half Royston had wasted many other chances but still led 3-1 at the interval.

Duffin had scored his fourth by the 50 minute mark and further strikes from Luke Hennessey, Jordan Richardson, Ryan Webb and and a Jahmell Mullings header completed the rout.

Only the home keeper offered resolve with plenty of top drawer saves to keep the final scoreline in single figures.
