Royston travelled to league favourites Langford and produced a below-par performance as they were convincingly beaten 4-1.

Ollie Wheeler scored a consolation goal with minutes to spare as Langford deservedly ran out winners in this Thurlow Nunn League match.

Manager Jorden Gibson said afterwards: “I'm disappointed, the players did not do themselves any favours tonight and they came away knowing it. Langford without question were better than us and deserved the victory, the players need to prepare themselves a lot better in future as we continue to have tough games coming up”.
