Rovers made it eight league wins out of eight.  This keeps them seven points clear at the top of Division One.

The match started with both teams pressing for a goal. Clifton created more chances with Royston keeper James making decent saves. Rovers lost possession in the 34th minute and Clifton took advantage, scoring a cracking goal from outside the area, Rovers went in at half time 1-0 down.

A rousing half time chat by the Rovers coaches saw the boys start the second half  with determination and belief. Rovers starting attacking and creating chances. New signing Joseph won the ball and using skill and strength hit a good shot which beat the Clifton keeper. One minute later it was two. Harry passed to Joseph  who's shot was saved but only into the path of Noah who tapped in from close range.  Two minutes later roles where reversed, Noah played a great ball into the path of Joseph who went round the keeper to make it 3 1 Rovers.  Soon after in was 4 1. Joseph was fouled in the area and Kian converted the awarded penalty. Joseph got his hat trick soon after. Jake's excellent pass found Joseph who fired home. Just before the end Rovers made it 6. Noah's accurate ball was meet by Jack who smashed it into the net. A great Rovers performance to finish the year.
