Rovers continued their rich vein of form with a convincing 7-1 victory over Manuden.

After a slow start in windy conditions on a sloping pitch, Rovers took the lead on 15 mins. They won a corner on the right which was swung in by Kian and headed home by Jack. Rovers continued to battle hard and were rewarded with a second goal courtesey of Dan G, who finished neatly from a Kian pass. Just before half time Rovers were awarded a free-kick, Lucas stepped up and fired the ball over the Manuden keeper into the back of the net. Half-time 3-0.

Rovers added a fourth early in the second half with a great footballing goal. The ball was played from defence to attack with several players involved before Lucas buried it in the net. The fifth goal was a cracking shot from outside of the box by Noah. Number six was again a good passing move with Corey finishing it off in style with his first goal for the club. Manuden managed to pull a goal back 5 mins from time but Rovers had the last say when Kian rounded the keeper to slot home after being put through by Lucas.

A great team effort in difficult conditions.
