Royston Town Hearts under 11s clinched the double on Sunday when they came out the winners of the League Cup Final at The Bury, Buntingford. Hearts rounded off their season with a 2-0 victory against Bedwell Rangers Cougars. In a hard fought match played in very hot conditions, Hearts battled hard and were awarded a penalty just before the break which Jack coolly slotted home to take the lead. Hearts then came close several times in the second half, before Charlie made it 2-0.  Some fantastic defending from the boys ensured Hearts were crowned double winners. Manager Darren Harward said "I am so proud  of every player, and to have won the double in our first season at 9v9 is just fantastic. The support for the boys on the day was amazing, and I'd like to thank everyone who came along to cheer the boys on."
