Crows went to Stortford with no subs today on a heavy pitch against a side that have been struggling to get results.

If Crows thought that it was going to be an easy game they were to be mistaken. Stortford sides are always well organised and set their stall out with four strong defenders.

Crows were on the front foot but could not break through the defence that closed down quickly. Crows shot wide when it was easier to score.

It was near the end of the first half that Zac and Wilko passed back and forth to each other and Zac played the ball back out to Wilko who shot over the keeper 0-1.

Crows soon let Rangers back in though when they scored from a tight angle 1-1 half time.

Bradley in goal kept Crows in it with a finger tip save over the bar.

Joseph, Lathan and Callum K on his debut were getting strong tackles in and clearing their line well. Josh ,Lewis R and Cameron(cpt) in his last game (before emigrating) now distributing well from midfield and keeping the pressure on Rangers with balls going out to the flanks with Dicko and Zac tearing up the wings.

Great one twos started to split the defence from James, Zac,Wilko and Dicko.

Dicko received the ball down the wing and looked up before floating a great ball in for Zac to power head into the net. 1-2

Bradley saved down to his left to save a great shot that looked in all the way.

Rangers keeper saved on several occasions holding onto the ball well.

Then a corner hit hard and low by James was back heeled into the net by Wilko, probably the most simple move of the game.1-3

Dicko pushing up was spotted by Bradley who lobbed one over the midfield and into Dickos path, he took a touch and lobed it again over the keeper on his way out. Again a simple move that was very well executed.1-4

Stortford got one back near the end but were by now beaten.

A strong team performance today with each player putting in a good shift.

Up to 5th in the league at Christmas in their first year 11 a-side cant be bad, well done all.

A great debut from Callum K
