Rovers made it eight consecutive wins to remain at the top of division one. This victory gives them an outside chance of winning the title.

Rovers were worthy winners on Sunday against fellow title contenders BSFC Town who trail Rovers by 6 points with 3 games in hand.
Both teams knew what was at stake and began with fire in their bellies. In the first half Kian whipped in a good corner which Michael meet with a firm header, but saw it go over the crossbar. Soon after Jack hit a great shot which curled around the far post. Rovers were pushing hard but could not find the back of the net. Half time 0-0.
The second half began with Rovers applying lots of good pressure and attacking moves. Kian again played in a good corner which this time was met by the head of Lucas who powered it into the net.1- 0 Rovers. Town tried to respond but Rovers were determined and disciplined. They defended well not allowing Town any clear cut chances. The three points went to Rovers and they were worthy winners.
