Rovers bounced back after the disappointment of the last two weeks with a gritty performance at home.

Rovers went on the attack from the start with Jack winning a free kick. Noah struck the ball well  forcing a good save from the Clifton keeper. Soon after Noah won the ball in midfield, passed to Lucas who finished well. One Nil Rovers. A few mins later Harness feed the ball to Michael  who hit a wicked shot from distance beating the keeper. Two Nil Rovers. Both Noah and Kian hit the crossbar soon after. This inspired Clifton to raise their game and on the stroke of half time they pulled a goal back. Two One and game on.

The second half begun with Rovers restoring their two goal advantage. Kian provided a good corner and Michael rose like a 'Salmon' to  fire a bullet header into the back of the net. Once again this fired up Clifton. They produced two good goals to level the score.  Jack clinched the three points for Rovers with a stunning strike just before the final whistle. A battle hardened game with both teams showing commitment and determination.
