Rovers got their new season under way with a comprehensive 7 0 home win. 

Rovers applied pressure from the start, creating many early chances. They were rewarded within 5 mins, Dan G played a good pass into the box, which Noah O connected with 1- 0 Rovers. Five mins later Rovers added another, Kian H hit the net after a good passing movement beginning in defence. Rovers had the lion share of the half and went in 2 0 at half time.

 

Rovers began the second half as they finished the first with good passing and pressure. Ben C received the ball just in Langfords half and noticing the keeper was off his line lobbed the ball over his head. three nil Rovers. New signing Jack C added Rovers fourth with a good finish.  Jack got his second soon after, slotting past the keeper. Michael C made it 6 0 with a curling shot over the keeper. Just before full time Kian H got his second of the match, tapping in from close range.

 

Rovers played good football and it was a very good team performance.
