Rovers got back to winning ways with a good home victory in the rain against Plantation.

 

Rovers applied pressure from the start, creating chances and working the goalkeeper. After 7mins Rovers got their reward winning a corner which Noah  whipped in and following a goalmouth scramble he found the target, one nil Rovers. Two mins later Rovers doubled their lead. Dan G worked hard, passed to Lucas who added to his increasing tally with a good finish. Soon after it was 3 0. Once again Rovers put the pressure on. Captain Michael won the ball, played it to Noah who made a great pass into Lucas who got his second of the match. Rovers went in at half time 3-0 up.

Rovers kept up with their attacking football in the second half. Lucas took on the defence and played in Dan T who hit a great shot. 4- 0 Rovers. Kian won a penalty soon after and got the nod to take it. He found the back of the net 5-0 to the home team. Plantation scored twice towards the end, one being a stunning free kick which everyone appreciated.

 

Rovers upped their game after last weeks setback getting all three points.
