Rovers lost their second league match of the season at home to a tough Blacksox team.

 

Blacksoxs began the stronger. They won the ball and broke quickly and within the first 5 mins were one nil up. Rovers looked stunned, but this shocked them into upping their game. The half continued with both teams creating chances. Alfie pulled off a good save after 10 mins, tipping the ball over the bar. Five mins later Rovers won a free kick which Noah O took, curling the ball and hitting the crossbar. Half time 0-1 to Blacksoxs.

The second half started with once again both teams creating chances. Lucas took on the defence and was then fouled in the box. Penalty Rovers. Lucas fired the ball home to level the score. This made Blacksox up their game and they added two quick goals to their tally, winning the game 3-1.
