Rovers provided a resilient performance to see off a determined Baldock side. Rovers started the game slowly allowing Baldock to create more chances which they failed to take,fortunately for Rovers goalkeeper James was on his game, as he produced a good double save to thwart the Baldock strikers. On 15 mins Rovers took the lead, Lucas crossed from the right into the path of Jack who slotted home from close range. The second half became more even but in a four minute spell Rovers put the game to bed with 3 goals First Lucas combined well with Flyn to set up Andrew 2-0 then Lucas put Jake through on goal and he calmly stroked the ball into the net 3-0. Finally Corey netted following a shot from Andrew which rebounded off the bar 4-0. Baldock never gave up and scored a deserved consolation goal at the end. A good result for Rovers but a flattering scoreline.
