Rovers cruised into the next round of the League Cup with an emphatic away victory to Bishop Stortford Swifts.

Straight away Rovers were on the offence. George passed to Noah who whipped in a great cross for Lucas to fire into the back of the net. 1-0 Rovers. Soon after it was two. Ben crossed the ball for Ollie to score. George again was involved in the third goal, his accurate pass was met by Ollie to double his tally.  Ollie got his hat trick soon after with a great finish. Rovers fifth was a tap in by captain JJ, connecting to a good Kian corner. Rovers sixth goal was started in defence, involving lots of good passing and moving with Ollie completing the move with his fourth. Lucas got his brance, latching onto a great Kian pass and finishing with a solid shot. With half-time looming Ollie completed his goals of the game, hooking his shot round the Swifts keeper. Eight nil at half-time.

Rovers again were solid, playing good football and keeping the ball. Good passes were being played and Flyn received the ball and smashed the ball pass the keeper.9-0. Andrew  made it 10 with a well hit shot. Rovers 11th started with a good goal kick by Alfie, it fell into the path of Jack, whose shot was parried by the keeper but only into the path of Kian who was able tap in.

A fantastic performance by all the boys. Lots of positive play, passing and goal scoring, Well Done!!
