Rovers lost their second league game on the bounce away at Hitchin.

Both teams got off to a good start creating chances and playing passing football. Hitchin took the lead with a great goal. Soon after they doubled their lead. A Rovers player was penalised for apparently handling the ball in the area. Keeper James went the right way but was beaten by the power. Half time 2-0 to the home team.

Rovers came out for the second half after a rousing team talk. Noah whipped in a great corner which fell at the feet of Lucas who's shot found the back of the net. Rovers continued to press but were caught out by a Hitchin break which saw the home team score their third.
