This was a rather drab game with Royston taking the points for being the sharper in the penalty area. The opening 30 minutes was best forgettable with many mistakes and poor quality, the rock pitch not making things easy for the players.

 

Royston came to life late in the half with a double strike. Jordan turned in Owen's low cross into the net off a post and Joe struck a fine 20 yard effort into the corner after Luke's cross was half cleared to him.

 

Royston slightly upped their game in the second half and looked more threatening and controlled things better. Matt hit a post with a header before Louis headed in another corner to complete the scoring and keep the team top after 5 games.
