A good win for the under 18s againts a good attacking side giving themselves every opportunity of still winning the league. Chances were created at both ends in the first half but The Crows were more clinical.
Micael run onto Matt's through ball to open the scoring but the home side levelled with a 25 yard thunderbolt, giving Owen no chance in goal.
The game swung in Royston's favour with two goals in two minutes just before half time. Firstly Luke scored a well taken goal from the edge of the area and then Jordan struck a direct 20 yard free kick into the corner of the net.
Elsenham came out the better in the opening period of the second half with Owen making one good save and another effort hitting the crossbar and cleared before the home side scored with a close rnage finish.
This galvanised the Royston team and they went on to get control of the game for its remaining duration. Jake, Jordan and Anthony both went close to scoring further goals before Louis volleyed in a half clearance from ten yards to give his side a well deserved three points
