Royston's heaviest defeat at reserve level for 3 seasons came on the back of a woeful performance away to a well drilled Colney side.
With 5 senior players missing this was always going to be a big ask,but the nonetheless Royston were still a shadow of the passing hard working and resilient out fit normally on display.
Again a crucial early decision went against the Town when KLEIN volleyed home only to have the effort chalked off for offside and this allowed the home side to get into their stride and unsettle Royston.
Debutant 'keeper KYLE FOSTER stood no chance with the first goal and was unsighted for the second,with worse to come as Colney strolled into a 3-0 lead at the Interval.
Despite changes being made this proved to be a game out of reach and it really was no surprise when Colney extended the lead.
Town's deminishing hopes of the league title now look to be hanging by a thread but with players returning and new signings being made and home games to come they will be looking to get back on track very quickly.
On a lighter note,there may have been a piece of Football Club history made when all three JACKSON brothers played in the same team on Saturday. Nobody at the Club can remember if three brothers have played in the same Royston team before.
