Royston Town Vets 8 Leisure Leagues Herts Vets 4

Royston Town Vets entered the Herts Vets Cup 1st Round with a comfortable 8-4 win over Leisure Leagues Herts Vets from Stevenage in a high scoring game played at Barton on 2 October.

Goalscorers were Stephen McGee (2), Lee Wilkinson (2), Jon Armstrong, Graham Hagger, Bernie O’ Brien and an own goal.

Town are now scheduled to play Wormley Rovers Vets in the 2nd Round of the competition at Garden Walk on 30th October.
