A Good Solid Display

Hi.

A good cup win away at local rivals Barton Rovers last night by us and hopefully the start of a revival that can carry on into our league form.

A good solid display. Lads working hard for each other, making it harder for the opposition to score and showing the glimpses of quality we know that we process. Pleased for all concerned. As frustrated as us as staff and you as supporters are, it’s nothing to the frustration that the players are feeling.

In my opinion they have tackled the “Problem” head on and shown a togetherness and professionalism that is a credit to the group. It’s always better when issues are sorted “In house” and on this occasion the senior players took the lead, ordered a night out to “Bond” and have set a code of conduct that they have agreed.

All very positive but now to follow it up with clean sheets and good results.

I’m very pleased with how the group have reacted. All teams will suffer certain problems throughout the campaign, it’s identifying the issue and then looking to solve it as quickly as possible.
