Focus on the Positives

Hi!

A bitter sweet occasion this afternoon where us “Crows” did well to score 6 goals away from home but let ourselves down a touch with some really sloppy defending to concede 4!!

Mixed feelings after the game and for once I was torn in what to say. On one hand a brilliant effort for lads, getting yet another win, our 13th straight win. And on the other letting our opposition have far too many opportunities to score. I chose to keep things upbeat and focus on the positives, especially with another big game coming up on Wednesday.

A quick mention on the Adam Murray situation where I’m sure caused a few raised eyebrows with me starting him on the bench rather than reinstating him. A tough call because Adam has arguably been our best defender so far this season but I like to reward players from previous performances and 3-0 against Arlesey Town meant a clean sheet for our defence but not only that. Adam is one booking away from a suspension and had he played and got booked he would miss our all-important match against Farnborough. All games are important but this one I would like all lads available for selection.

So onto Wednesday, another away game, against Kidlington. They are not having the best of times at the moment but they have taken points off us this season so a bit of “Revenge” is the order from me!

Cheers
