Keeping Our Feet Firmly On The Ground

Well!

Top of the League!!

Well done boys!! I hasten to add though however that looks it will mean nothing if we don’t end up Champs!!

Not negative talk in my opinion but a case of keeping our feet firmly on the ground.

The League position shows that nothing can be taken for granted. As previously said we take every match as they come. So far so good. The confidence amongst the lads is high and also a determination to “See the job through” is prevalent.

Great signs but I’m sure our rivals will be as determined to push us all the way so a very interesting few weeks ahead.

Not a great game to report on, although very convincing against a poor Aylesbury United team. Our first, yet another penalty, dispatched perfectly by Jack Bradshaw put us 1-0 up. Quickly followed by probably the best bit of play of the afternoon by Simon Thomas and Ryan Towner getting us 2-0 up. The conditions against us first half so second half we had the luxury of resting certain players for Monday’s match. Scott Bridges superbly finishing twice to put us 4-0 up!

Keep the great attitude up boys, hopefully by staying as close knit as we are will see us over the line!!

Cheers
