Northwood Reflections

Hello,

Yesterday's game against Northwood brought the league leaders to Garden Walk for our third match of the season. Northwood carried on their good form and picked up the three points with two quick goals after half time. Cancelling out Luke Robins first half opener.

The game was certainly a lively affair with in my opinion us going in front deservedly after a tough first half. We had the lion's share of possession and although our finishing could have been better considering we were going up hill we felt satisfied enough going into the break 1-0 up.

Second half and that self destruct button got pressed again. Their goals were pretty similar in as much as they were two through balls that should have been dealt with by us. Fair play to Northwood they had very few chances and scored two goals. We on the other hand had so many chances both first and second half and didn't finish. It's a problem for sure.

I do think that if we weren't creating opportunities that would be more concerning but with the quality we possess all over the park, I'm sure we will turn the corner.

Good news is that it's early in the season and plenty of points still to play for, but we need to get going ASAP.

Keep the faith everyone and we'll be fine!

Thanks,
SC
