A Win, But We Need Better Performance Levels

Boy are we making hard work of things!!

A 2-0 win today which could and should have been a lot more!!

In the FA Cup getting through is the priority as with 3 points in the league. Performances are important and we will keep striving for a better performance level but while winning, it’s a secondary consideration.

At this point it must be said the performance level of a certain Joe Welsh. He has been amazing this season. Kept us in games and today keeping a clean sheet which gave us the springboard to add to our slender lead.

So a problem to solve! The lads are aware of it are we as staff. We will all be doing our very best to eliminate this anxiety from our game and push on!!

Everyone involved in the club would love a cup run so it will be interesting who we get in the next round. For a home draw is important but whatever draw we get we will give it the full level of commitment as we do in all our matches.

Lastly, well done to the Reserves and A Team. Both won today to make a good weekend for the senior men’s Crows teams.

Cheers,
Steve C
